Carolyn V. Sibley was a health advocate, nurse and devoted mother. She received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Long Beach State University and her Masters in Public Health from UCLA. She spent her career as a nurse working and serving the historically underserved communities in South Central Los Angeles. In addition to the work that she did in healthcare, Carolyn believed that education was crucial to solving the disparities in our world. Carolyn's four children carried her vision to heart and have all achieved academic success in their own lives.
The Scholarship
Two (2) Carolyn V. Sibley Memorial Homeschool Scholarships will be awarded this year. The selected two (2) families will receive the following:
Additionally, another eight (8) families will be selected to receive a free copy of The Homeschool Alternative.
who is eligible to apply?
Parents of children between the ages of 4 and 18 and are residents of the United States are eligible to apply. The family applicant must complete the Carolyn V. Sibley Memorial Homeschool Scholarship online application and submit it by Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:59pm CST. Winners will be notified and publicly announced on Friday, August 14, 2020. Only one application per family is allowed.
